It inverts the daily game: instead of six guesses at an unknown word, you get one already-scored word and have to name the only answer consistent with it. Five rounds per drop, unlimited guesses, and you can move between rounds freely.
Because exactly one word fits, every grey tile matters as much as every green one. A grey letter rules that letter out of the answer entirely, which is often what narrows three candidates down to the single right one.
Tips for Solving Wordle in 1
Start with the greens. They fix letters in place and give you a skeleton to fill. Then take the yellows one at a time: each is in the answer but banned from the position it currently occupies, a much stronger constraint than it first looks.
Work the greys last, as a filter. Once you have a candidate that satisfies the greens and yellows, check that none of its letters appear in the grey set. That single check rules out most near-misses.
If a round has no greens at all, the answer is usually an anagram or near-anagram of the starting word. That is a strong signal worth testing early.
