How Wordwind Works
Wordwind is the daily word find that comes with Cubewords. It deals 24 letters onto a small 2×2×2 cube, four to a face, and you trace words through letters that touch. Squares touch along a side or at a corner, and a path carries on over the cube’s edges onto the next face, so a single word can wrap all the way round. Each cube hides at least one everyday word that touches all six faces.
Longer words and words that cross more faces score more: 1 point for three or four letters, 2 for five, 3 for six, 5 for seven and 11 for eight or more, plus a point for every face beyond the first. Your points climb a ladder of eight ranks, from Calm through Stirring, Breezy, Brisk, Gusty, Gale and Storm to Whirlwind. Stirring sits at about 2% of the cube’s total points.
Players often search for words by length. Five-letter words sit in the middle of the list and usually score a modest base plus any face bonus; six-letter and longer words that travel across several faces move you up the ranks faster. Tap a letter on the cube to filter the list to words that start there, then scan by length.
How to Use This Page
The letters are shown in the open, because they are the puzzle. Every word that counts is listed by points but blurred, so you only see the ones you ask for: tap one to reveal it and see its chain drawn on the cube, or use Reveal all. Tap a letter on the cube to list the words you can trace from it, highest scoring first, and tap one of those to see its chain. Follow the path draws a chain letter by letter, turning the cube as it goes.
Wordwind Tips
Look for common endings such as -ED, -ER and -ING: wherever their letters touch, each one turns a short word into a longer, higher-scoring one. Because corners count as touching, every square on the cube touches seven others: the other three on its face and four on the faces around it.
Chase the six-face word early. It needs at least six letters to reach every face, so it is one of the higher-scoring paths on the cube.
