FIRESHIP (plural FIRESHIPs) (nautical) A sailing ship that has been set alight and left to drift into an opposing fleet. Famously used by englishman Sir Francis Drake when fighting the spanish Armada of 1588. (vulgar, slang) A diseased prostitute.
