EMOTIVISM. (countable and uncountable, plural EMOTIVISMs) (ethics) The meta-ethical stance that ethical judgments, such as those containing the words "should" and "ought to", are primarily expressions of one's own attitude and imperatives meant to change the attitudes and actions of another.
