DIMIDIATION. (countable and uncountable, plural DIMIDIATIONs) The act of divide, dividing into half, halves. The condition of being divided into halves. (heraldry) A marshalling of two coat of arms, coats of arms by the bisection per pale of their escutcheon, escutcheons and forming a {{n-g, new}} coat of arms from the dexter half of one coat and the sinister half of the other.
