The board solvers were built to be intuitive. Here's how to use them:

- Enter any known letters directly onto the board. You can switch directions (vertical or horizontal) by tapping the square
- Enter your rack letters into the input box and click search. Use "Space" or "?" for blank tiles
- Hover over results to see where the word would be placed onto the board
- To select the word to be played, you can press the + button to the right of the word
- Make sure to strategically choose the best word. For example, if the best play opens up a 3x word score, you may want to rethink the play
- The menu bar above the board will allow you to save multiple games
- The options bar will let you select a few other options as well

Words with Friends is a multiplayer word game where players take turns creating words, similar to the way done in Scrabble. While Scrabble and Words with Friends follow similar rules, they are two separate games. Players on Words with Friends can simultaneously play up to 40 different games at any given time. These games are done electronically either on Facebook, the app, or various other web platforms. Players can either choose to play with their friends or family by searching for their username, be randomly assigned a player through “Smart Match,” or find potential opponents using the community match feature. There is also a chat feature included in the game so opponents can catch up while playing a fun game of Words with Friends! In fact, the chat feature has led to a number of romantic relationships and marriages after players have been randomly assigned together.

In terms of the rules of Words With Friends, they are fairly similar to those of Scrabble. The only main differences are the arrangement of premium squares and some of the letters feature different point values/distribution. The game starts with the players receiving 7 randomly generated tiles which are replenished throughout the game until the 104 tiles are used. During a turn, players can either choose to play a word, swap a tile, or pass their turn. Players are allowed to place their words either vertically or horizontally with the ultimate goal of scoring as many points as they can!

Words with Friends is a great way to keep in touch with friends, find a game that you can play with your parents, and refresh your vocabulary. Additionally, playing enough words with friends will make you a stronger Scrabble player for when you are playing real time and in person!!
