We are very excited to roll out our brand new look! We wanted a redesign to have a major impact with very little disruption. A little information about what drove the redesign, to let you get into our heads:
Screen size was a big issue for us. Different users using different computers meant different screen sizes to deal with. Now the site is totally responsive. Try going to the homepage and changing the size of your browser and notice how things move around in place properly and you might see what we mean!
Our mobile website was not very mobile friendly, but now the site is responsive to all screen sizes, be it an iPad, tablet, desktop or mobile device.
We added a newsletter subscription – please sign up! we will NEVER spam you or give away your email address. And we will barely email you in the first place! Our goal is to provide a few scrabble tips and other word game tips, as well as give out the latest news and fun facts related to word related things! It also helps us feel more in touch with TheWordFinder community!
Getting around our site was sometimes difficult so now we have a navigation tab in the top right corner, as well as a site roadmap in the footer with links to our most popular pages.
There are a number of other minor changes which you will probably come across, but those are the big ones! We sincerely hope you enjoy the new user experience and please let us know if we can do anything else to make your experience better. We want to keep improving and not slow down!
