1. Don't shoot for the moon on every turn! You don't necessarily want to score the best possible word every time. Save your valuable tiles for high scoring opportunities. 2. Be vigilant in placing words which might allow your opponent to hit on triple word score markers. Avoid if possible 3. Near the end of the game, save a few vowels for the final rounds even if you have to score less in the short run, as you may gain valuable points and avoid negative points from leftover tiles later on. |
