Catching-23

It was October of 1970, middle-aged mothers were going wild for purple string lights, every child wanted the latest Batman  NOUN, and the majority of teens in Hormigueros Puerto Rico were jealous of these(troublesome) five; Cullen, Nieves,  NOUN, Vazquez and Fontaine. What do they all have in common? One peculiar event. They were left a banned book in the place where they excelled the best. Cullen was left The  ADJECTIVE Gatsby under his towel beside the pool dock. Nieves was left The Sun Also Rises under her thousands of Spanish books. Bones was left The Davinci code beside his sketchbook while he was drawing the Basilica Menor de la Virgen de Monserrate. Vázquez was left The Animal Farm under her debate notes. Finally, Fontaine was left Catch-22 inside her polished sport Ferrari 250 GT0. First; oddly one of the books was not from this year nor the  NOUN, second, they didn’t have pages, they only had an address written in between the hollow space between the cover and back. Being the most quick-witted teens in the region, they balanced out the probabilities of being killed and it all led to 50% but having in mind they were all looking for a job, the probability of them going grew to 100%. The address anomalously led to Bone’s house. The four arrived and slowly  VERB the living room, ignoring the countless red cups full to the brim with noxious substances that no one in their right mind would  VERB . They made their way to the basement door where Bones had a stern look as if he were contemplating entering his own home. The five skipped the introductions and went straight through the  ADJECTIVE door because in a weird way they took the saying”Paid musician doesn’t  VERB well” and completely ignored the second part, they just heard payed. On the floor layed an architectural plan for a bank vault but the papers were signed as if it were 2023. In that moment Fontaine finally understood what this meant. They were going on a impossible heist. The book she was  VERB explained it all, Catch-22 means “An impossible situation because you cannot do one thing until you do another thing, but you cannot do the second thing unitll you do the first thing.” This paradox would only  VERB to the death of anyone who challenges it and the only way to cheat death is to go back in time. She told everyone that this was a criminally induced plan but before she could walk up the stairs to the door, it shut. An outbound voice rang through the five’s ear and a colossal being of light announced itself and said the words all of them would have never been even remotely close to guess. “By cause of each one of your talents, in about five seconds you will be teleported 53 years in the future. You will rob the vault that will be built right above your heads, best of  NOUN, see you in the future”.
