'Twas The Night Before...

'Twas the night before a presidential election, and all through the country, not a politician was stirring, not even a  NOUN The ballots were stacked by the chimney with care, in hopes that fair results soon would be there. The  ADJECTIVE candidates were nestled all snug in their bed, while visions of  NOUN policies danced in their heads. The  ADJECTIVE voter’s in their  NOUN, and Tommy in his  NOUN, had just settled down for a long election night's  NOUN. When out on the  NOUN there arose such a(n)  ADJECTIVE clatter, Tommy sprang from his  NOUN to see what was the matter. When, what to his wondering eyes should appear, but a  NOUN candidate with a  ADJECTIVE cheer!
