It's Really About Shannon!

This story is about Shannon. Her team thinks she is hard-working and busy at work and is a real asset. Shannon grew up knowing she'd work in healthcare, where compassionate people around her would enjoy what they were doing, which is helping others in need. The people that work with Shannon (either in the past or currently) would describe Shannon as dedicated, but outside of work people would describe Shannon as an adventurer! The position that challenged Shannon outside of her comfort zone the most is parenting. There she learned new things and acquired skills such as saying no, being patient and understanding of her family. Most people believe Shannon is fantastic at coming up with new ideas and being passionate about it. However, her real expertise on this team could be thinking outside-of-the-box. One thing Nitha really hopes for Shannon to do more in her current role is trust her instincts. And Alicia feels Shannon would excel at driving the new Business Partners service. One initiative Duane wanted to see her consider doing was leading his team on CRCA application support transitions. (And if you have ideas on how Shannon can still do this on top of all the other things she does, please let her know). According to Gayla, to be at her best and work her best, Shannon needs leadership and team support. Her preferred communication style according to Pat is to be clear and succinct. One thing she may do that will possibly get on Jenny’s nerves is going accidentally on mute and if she does it, just let her know by pinging her in teams' chat. One of Shannon’s biggest pet peeves at work is when Jospeh does not talk in meetings. The best way, according to Eileen, to give Shannon constructive feedback in the workplace is by being honest and compassionate. The thing that always gets Shannon in a good mood is a funny story. And she usually laughs at Danny when he is animated and tells jokes. If you ever want to get Shannon food, her favorite things to eat are healthy and organic. Sometimes Shannon likes to pour herself a tasty cup of coffee during meetings at work. And if you catch her not paying attention in a meeting, she’s most likely multi-tasking. One thing you probably don’t know about Shannon is she has a few tattoos of  NOUN and  NOUN. These are things she most passionately values. In her free time, Shannon works out by lifting weights. And enjoys competitive body building competitions. She whistles to the song  FAVORITE SONG to help her focus. The takeaway from this, is that we know Shannon is very complicated even after 5 years of her working at Providence! And we are thrilled and fortunate she is part of our team!
