School Vision: A NOUN should be a place where we are a NOUN of learners. Where NOUN in the building is constantly VERB and VERB. Schools are not NOUN, but rather NOUN where students come to VERB the skills and competencies required to meet state expectations for their grades and the skills required to be productive members of society, including the ability to be ADJECTIVE consumers of the world around them. Schools should be the NOUNof their community, places where all NOUN recognize that when our students fail, we all fail, when they VERB we all VERB .
Instructional Vision: Students VERB best in ADJECTIVE structured and ADJECTIVE relational environments where they are given NOUNto grapple with challenging concepts; through ADJECTIVE work time, and ample opportunities to discuss, collaborate, and receive and implement regular NOUN, while VERB relationships of mutual NOUNand respect between other students and adults. Teachers then serve as facilitators of VERB , guiding students through learning tasks and synthesizing major concepts, while VERB them to make the connections between the concepts and their own world through thoughtful NOUN and modeling, responding to data, and ADJECTIVE culture-building actions.
In short ‘students working on grade-level NOUNand beyond with teachers pushing the thinking back on to NOUNand VERB them opportunities to make connections to the content’
