She’s been given a chance to win a columnist job with the Oath Gazette. She’s been competing with nouveau riche Roman for assignments and sparks fly between them with every interaction. He’s just as motivated as she, since his overbearing father has forced him to compete for the columnist job. In her lonely desperation, Iris starts writing letters to her brother and passing them under her wardrobe.
