HUGO the family DOG was WALKING in the WOODS with LILY and her dad when he found a litter of TINY KITTENS ABANDONED. They BROUGHT them to their home to CARE for them until they were old enough to stay at a SHELTER. Everyone was SURPRISED that HUGO got along with the KITTENS so well. One KITTEN was WHITE and the other two were BLACK AND ORANGE. The BLACK AND ORANGE KITTENS were ADOPTED QUICKLY. LILY LOVED the WHITE KITTEN and was DREADING the day he had to LEAVE . The neighbor's cat PIXIE was JEALOUS of the new KITTENS. PIXIE SNUCK into LILY'S home and SCRATCHED HUGO. STANLEY HID behind the CURTAIN. Everyone thought STANLEY SCRATCHED and WANTED her to LEAVE except LILY. THANKFULLY PIXIE'S owner came over LILY'S HOUSE and TOLD them that PIXIE got loose and went into their HOUSE. It all made sense to LILY and her family and they DECIDED to KEEP STANLEY. LILY was ECSTATIC !
