A Day In The Life Of An SSE VP

Being the Vice  NOUN of the Student Success and  NOUN office at  NOUN University is much than people think. To give everyone a better  NOUN of what goes on behind the scenes, I, Kris Hansen-Kieffer, am going to tell you what one of my days looks like. The first thing I do when I wake up is practice my  ADJECTIVE fitness by lifting weights. Then I use my treadmill for a quick run. After that, I feel ready for my day. My breakfast is a nice cup of coffee with some eggs and toast. I leisurely make my way into work, where I immediately open my laptop at my desk. After that, I read the latest article from the Chronicle of Higher Education and make sure that our University hasn't made headlines for firing RDs for putting pronouns in their emails. Next, my morning is full of fun meetings to discuss important things like International Risk Management and Student Care Concerns. To be honest, in those meetings, I usually just say "Kim Phipps thinks that safety is the most important thing in this situation". That usually makes me sound very intelligent. For lunch, I call Mark Wirtz and have him cook up a fresh plate of chicken with a side of peas. Then I take a wonderful nap for 3 hours while I tell employees I'm busy on a call with the President's Cabinet. While that all may sound very easy, managing a department as big as this one is very difficult. Our budget goes mostly towards paying for educational events for students. However, Athletics is always asking for funds to pay for new facilities at Shoemaker Field, and ResLife desperately needs new renovations in Naugle. It is really  ADJECTIVE when I get to tell them that the funds went to give Agape employees new raises instead. Well, that's about it! Now that you know what a typical day looks like, maybe one day you will be able to do my job!
