Medical Wisdom, Part One

Once upon a time in a  ADJECTIVE hospital there was an  PLACE IN HOSPITAL filled with healthcare professionals, patients and sick  PLURAL NOUN. There were also  PLURAL NOUN ,  PLURAL NOUN , and  PLURAL NOUN . The  ADJECTIVE people were busy  GERUND . The dogs were busy  GERUND and and the  PLURAL NOUN were  ADVERB yelling "Form a single line. No breathing on each other!" Meanwhile, the  ADJECTIVE healthcare professionals were  GERUND back and forth  GERUND their gloves and wringing their  BODY PART . Suddenly a door  PAST TENSE VERB open and a  ADJECTIVE old  ANIMAL with a stethoscope  PAST TENSE VERB into the room  GERUND a l tune unlike any other. When the room was sufficiently quiet, the lyrics became clear. A minuscule  NOUN of your attention, my dearest  PLURAL NOUN and I shall do my best to  VERB your  ADJECTIVE problems. When I was a young  ANIMAL just out of school I encountered a situation much like this myself. Being a  ADJECTIVE youngster, I did not understand how much the medical establishment resembled the nest of my childhood thus did not realize how obeying the rules of the nest would help it operate smoothly, repair broken beaks and ruffled feathers and go a long way toward preventing broken eggs and wings and promoting healthy fledglings...especially in difficult times. As nobody had ever seen a bird with a stethoscope before, they stood and listened in silence. Here is what I learned...
