Romeo And Juliet Summary

Romeo and Juliet is a  NOUN by William Shakespeare about two young lovers who cannot  VERB together because of a  NOUN conflict. It is set in  PLACE Italy in the 1500’s. We begin the story seeing a fight break out between the families  PERSONS NAME and  PERSONS NAME . The prince breaks up this fight and tells both families if it happens again it will result in  NOUN for both lords. After this Romeo’s best friend Mercutio attend a Capulet party. Romeo and Juliet meet at the party and fall in love at first sight. Juliets cousin Tybalt notices this and tries to start a fight but is stopped by  PERSONS NAME . Later in the night they confess to each other while Juliet is on her  NOUN. Romeo and Juliet then make plans to get  ADJECTIVE the next day. After both lovers go through with the marriage, we see Mercutio and Romeos  NOUN, Benvolio joking around. Tybalt walks up to them looking for a fight with  PERSONS NAME . Freshly married Romeo walks over to all three of them and declines Tybalt's request to fight. Mercutio is angered by Tybalt and fights him himself. During this fight it is  PERSONS NAME who tried to stop them. This is a distraction to Mercutio and Tybalt takes advantage of that and stabs Mercutio under Romeo’s arm. While Romeo is grieving Tybalt runs away. Soon after he returns and Romeo blind with rage fights him and wins. The prince and the two households find out and Romeo's punishment is given. News spreads to Juliet that her lover killed  PERSONS NAME and for that his punishment is banishment but with their marriage not yet consummated she sends her nurse out to get Romeo. Romeo arrives and they have a short-lived honeymoon before he’s sent off to another town. Juliet is deeply saddened by the loss of her  NOUN but her parents assume she’s added because of the death of her cousin.  PERSONS NAME sets up a marriage with Paris hoping to make Juliet happy. After telling her she gets upset and tries to decline the marriage when she is told either she will marry or be  VERB .
