Tesla peered at the lower edge of the blob and then flattened herself on the floor to try to see what was under it.
Nick lay down, too. He could see a man's BODY PART and BODY PART and BODY PART smooshed into the ADJECTIVE cement floor beneath the blob. One COLOR eye blinked, or perhaps VERB, at him.
"Hi," Nick said.
"Gosh," Uncle Newt said, "you've both gotten so ADJECTIVE. How old are you again?
" NUMBER," Nick said.
" ! Wow! The last time I saw you two, you were practically PLURAL NOUN, and now just look at you! Old enough to VERB!"
"Uh... no," Nick said.
