Behavioral Consultant Scope Of Work

Behavioral consultants are responsible for participating on the CCR&R professional development team and implementing all relevant  NOUN responsibilities. Develop an individual professional development plan to enhance  NOUN regarding but not limited to; consultative methods, early childhood  ADJECTIVE guidance and supports, early childhood mental health, attachment,  NOUN, and parenting theories, typical and atypical social/emotional development,  ADJECTIVE childhood experiences and trauma affects, child abuse and neglect, community resources for children with special needs and their families, the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act and Americans with Disabilities Act. Provide  NOUN and  ADJECTIVE consultation to early childhood providers regarding social/emotional development, associated behaviors, and positive guidance. Observe and evaluate  PLURAL NOUN, adult-child interactions, child-child interactions, and child behaviors, provide positive  PLURAL NOUN to support caregivers with developmentally appropriate methods for optimum development for all children. Facilitate the development of positive guidance and supports for  PLURAL NOUN whose childcare placements are in jeopardy. Provide consultation to early childhood  PLURAL NOUN in their enrollment and inclusion of all children, and in regard to relevant federal and state regulations and policies for all young children. Provide on-site professional development to support positive  NOUN and  ADJECTIVE practices. Develop and provide needs-based learning opportunities for all early childhood providers related to the  ADJECTIVE,  ADJECTIVE, and  ADJECTIVE needs of young children. Provide appropriate resource/consultation  PLURAL NOUN to providers to support developmentally appropriate behavior guidance. Link children who have  ADJECTIVE needs, their families, and caregivers with appropriate services including special education, community health and mental health services, and facilitate those linkages to assure that children can benefit from child care services. Develop a relationship with community  PLURAL NOUN community agencies/programs such as WV Birth to Three, Preschool Special Education and School-Age Special Education programs as well as the WV Home & Community based Waiver program. Provide on-going site  PLURAL VERB to early childhood providers to develop, strengthen, and maintain positive working relationships. Utilize the  NOUN during the site observations to obtain consistent relevant information for consultation, professional development, and strategic intervention planning. Offer  NOUN module series at least one time per year or more if needed. Also, offer  NOUN module series at least one time per year or more if needed. Offer  NOUN FCCPBIS module series at least one time per year or more if needed. Adhere to the "Behavioral Consultant Process" based on the principles of Positive Guidance and  NOUN.
