As a child Ben heard the legend of the animals speaking on Christmas Eve. But now that he's an adult, he says "Oh, that's just a ADJECTIVE story to tell little kids."
As Ben hunkered down on the ROOM IN HOUSE couch for a long winter's nap he was startled to hear a ADJECTIVE voice:
"Hey you!" Sure enough his white and COLOR cat Ada was SPEAKING! She continued, "I'm too delicate to yell, so please listen. I hate ham and your mom VERB it every Christmas. This year I want some of that Tofurkey."
Ben was taken aback. "What about bacon or shrimp or even FOOD?"
Ada rustled her PART OF THE BODY impatiently. "I'm about to lose my voice again. Tofurkey! I beg of you! Right off Leo's plate..."
And now, Ben tells little children a new legend: that of the mysterious vegetarian cat...
