An app that is truly puzzling<\/em>, this gameplay is thought provoking and enticing. The objective is to turn every letter tile green by creating words from shifting the tiles up and down. This design imitates that of a traditional lock, with rotating dials to finally find the right combination. With a clean design and attractive user experience, the only frustrating aspect of the game is the challenge posed by this \u201clock picking\u201d experience. At some point it became more about forming whatever arrangement I could just to turn the tiles green rather than focusing on creating words themselves. \u00a0During the more challenging levels, you\u2019ll be sure to turn to Merriam Webster, one of the app\u2019s sponsors, or The Word Finder<\/a> to look up some of the gibberish words you might end up making. If Solitaire and Scrabble had a baby, this would be it. This addictive game allows you to score points by creating words based on the letter cards in the set. Each letter is assigned a point<\/p>\n

beneath and the largest containing six. To form words, you tap the letter card you wish to use and the letters appear in order across the top with an indication of how many points the word is worth. The game holds your interest by requiring methodical, anticipatory thinking with an appealing visual aesthetic, where you truly feel like your head is in the clouds. Given one of the board layouts they provide you with, the letters are laid out in stacked tiles. By using a certain tile, other tiles are \u201cunlocked\u201d or revealed from underneath. You are free to form whichever<\/p>\n

After a few quick rounds, your mind is sure to be in the mentality of the game. Upon identifying the correct word within the 20 second time frame, the clock automatically resets to 20 seconds and the next letters appear. For every successful word you gain points and the more quickly you form the word, the more points you score. You can modify the timer to 30 seconds if you need more time or 12 if you\u2019re confident in your skills.<\/p>\n
