The good news? Scrabble has teamed up with EA and together have created an update to the Scrabble Worldwide Facebook game. The bad? Every user’s history including high scores and scrabble contact lists have been erased, from existence. They have also introduced advertisements which have added fuel to the fire, as thousands of angry fans have taken over the Scrabble Facebook Page to voice their displeasures.
There are even several Facebook pages that have popped up, petitioning to bring back the old Scrabble Worldwide FB game. Here are a few:

Meanwhile, Scrabble has shown no sign of reverting back to the old Scrabble Worldwide. Only time will tell whether infuriating the loyal fan base who never dared to play Words With Friends or Literati was the right move for Scrabble.
